MANILA, Philippines – The Star Cinema and Viva Films venture ‘No Other Woman’ is proclaimed the highest Filipino top grossing film of all time and settled on the third spot with box office receipts of Php250 million (as of October 16) trailing behind two foreign films—‘Transformers: Dark of the Moon’ with Php409 million and ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Part 2) with P hp291 million, respectively.
The said Anne Curtis-starrer made it to the list of top 15 highest grossing movies shown in the Philippines this year despite its adult themes about ‘cheating’, it was still graded an ‘A’ by the Cinema Evaluation Board of the Philippines and found lessons about the movie itself. The film was given an R-13 rating by the Movies and Television Classification Board of the Philippines.
Also, the film proved that no typhoon not even storm Nesat that hit Luzon could cause its downfall as its premiere was supposed to be held a day prior its release date.
The film is about a man's journey towards building a career and a family that he can competently provide for, but along the way, his ambition and reputation were tarnished by a single adulterous act, involving with Curtis’s character.
Curtis was supported by Derek Ramsay, Christine Reyes, Tirso Cruz III, Carmi Martin, John Arcilla, and a lot more. Ruel S. Bayani directed the film.
